Extension Care
Clean/Condition: Before washing, brush gently working from the ends upward with extension brush. Wash and condition with All Soft or Acidic Bonding Concentrate keeping conditioner away from adhesive bands, k-tip bonds or beads.
At least once a week apply deep conditioner as directed, working from mid-shaft to ends, especially on blondes to hydrate and protect. Rinse well to prevent product build up.
Towel dry. Brush gently holding at mid-shaft to support extension, and work from ends upward using a wet brush.
Sleep with dry hair tied in a soft pony, braid or top knot. Wet, loose hair will tangle and is prone to matting. Try a silk pillowcase to give your extensions some extra love.
Swim, Sun, or Sweat... Before any of these activities, mix water with conditioner in a spray bottle (or use a leave in conditioner) and lightly mist mid-shaft to ends to help prevent discoloration from chlorine, salt, sunscreen and tanning products. Keep hair tied in soft pony, braid, or top knot to prevent tangling. After activities, wash as directed above!
Style: Apply styling, finishing or setting product away from the adhesive band and avoid your hair root. Use thermal protecting products when heat styling. 300°F MAX for human hair extensions.
