With more than four decades of experience in the beauty industry, Tina has built a career rooted in passion, creativity, and a commitment to helping others succeed. She began her journey in cosmetology at just 16 years old and has proudly lived and worked in Key West her entire life.
As a licensed cosmetologist and certified DreamCatchers Hair Extension Specialist, Tina is trained in all four professional extension methods including keratin bonds, hand-tied wefts, I-tips, and tape-ins. Her career has included a wide range of specialties such as bridal hair and makeup, advanced color techniques, color corrections, and professional hair extensions.
Tina is also the owner of Spoil Me Rotten Salon, a well-established salon she has successfully operated in Key West for over 16 years. Through her salon, she has built a loyal client base and a strong reputation for exceptional service and artistry.
In 2021, Tina expanded her vision for the future of the beauty industry by founding Key West Beauty Academy. Her goal was to create a learning environment where aspiring cosmetologists and licensed stylists could receive hands-on training, mentorship, and advanced education to grow their careers.
That same year, Tina also launched the Island Beauty Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the academy’s mission and helping provide opportunities for education and professional development within the beauty industry.
Today, Tina’s passion is focused on teaching and mentoring the next generation of beauty professionals while also helping experienced stylists advance their skills through specialized training classes. Her lifelong dedication to the craft continues to inspire students, stylists, and the beauty community throughout Key West.
